"Justice and judgment are the habitation of Thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before Thy face. Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of Thy countenance. In Thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in Thy righteousness shall they be exalted" (Psalm 89:14-16).
The sound of salvation announces God's grace:
His justice and judgment have been satisfied!
His mercy and truth shining forth from His face
Were in their full splendor when Christ Jesus died!
The sound of salvation is found in the song
Of hearts who will walk in the light of the LORD:
His light that exposes our sin that is wrong,
Unveils salvation His grace will afford!
O Lord, You have spoken, and gladly we've heard:
In You we are sheltered from just condemnation!
In You, by YOUR righteousness, we are assured!
How great is our joy in the sound of salvation!
