Psalm 65:1-3 Praise waiteth for thee… O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all… come. Iniquities prevail against me: as for our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away.
Proverbs 11:4 Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.
Daniel 11:3,45 And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will… yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.
Hebrews 3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest
there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living
God.
Our praise ascends to heaven’s throne
To Jesus Christ with adoration
As we proclaim that He alone
Could purge our sins with His salvation.
Though kings extend their brief dominion,
Our Lord shall reign eternally.
Though fools declare their false opinion,
The Gospel truth has made us free.
