Symphony of our Savior

“Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in His sanctuary: praise Him in the firmament of His power.  Praise Him for His mighty acts: praise Him according to His excellent greatness… Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD.  Praise ye the LORD” (Psalm 150:1-6).  “My son, attend unto My wisdom, and bow thine ear to My understanding” (Proverbs 5:1).  “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee… Thou also hast wrought all our works in us… we make mention of Thy name” (Isaiah 26:3-13).  “For in Him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.  And ye are complete in Him, which is the Head of all principality and power” (Colossians 2:9,10).

O how majestic is the praise
Arising from the symphony
Of hearts that focus on the ways
Of Christ or Lord eternally!

We praise Him in His lofty place.
We praise Him for His mighty power.
We praise Him for His works of grace
And for His greatness every hour.

We bow our ears and lift our eyes
That understanding may increase.
The minds thus stayed on Christ are wise,
And God will grant them perfect peace.

We’re making mention of His name
Who wrought His work of grace in us.
Let everything with breath proclaim
And make His praises glorious!

In Christ does all the fullness dwell
Of all the wonders of the LORD.
He has redeemed the souls from hell
Of those by whom He is adored.

O Lord, in You we are complete,
And we are clothed in Your salvation
As in Your symphony we meet,
Attentive to Your orchestration!
