Psalm 95:8 ~ Harden not your heart, as in the provocation.
Proverbs 3:5 ~ Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
2 Chronicles 1:11,12 ~ God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart… wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee.
2 Corinthians 6:2 ~ Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
The call to harden not your heart,
As in the desert provocation,
Requires all, not just a part,
Of our committed dedication.
The Lord delights in hearts as tender
As He had found in Solomon.
So may we bring, with full surrender,
A heart that says, “Thy will be done.”
