"Ye are bought with a price; be ye not the servants of men" (1 Corinthians 7:23).
You who are bought by the Lord Jesus Christ:
How great was the price that He paid for you then!
In view of the ransom at which you were priced,
Do not return to be servants of men!
What wonderful freedom our Savior has bought!
What purpose and joy He has thereby instilled!
We're servants of God (what a marvelous thought!),
Delighting to do what our Savior has willed.
Give to the Lord the glory He's due.
Serve Him recalling the price that He paid.
How precious that price was for me and for you!
How great was the love on His cross He displayed!
