Psalm 127:1 Except the LORD build the house, they labor in vain that
build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
Proverbs 13:15 Good understanding giveth favor: but the way of
transgressors is hard.
Ecclesiastes 7:19 Wisdom strengtheneth the wise more than ten mighty men which are in the city.
Mark 16:15,20 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and
preach the gospel to every creature…. And they went forth, and preached
everywhere, the Lord working with them,
and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
There is a way to
work in vain,
Unwisely losing a reward.
The psalmist
surely made this plain:
We build in vain
without the Lord.
This understanding
guides behavior:
We work with
wisdom and with might
When we are
working with the Savior
And we are
pleasing in His sight.
