The Curse's Conqueror

"Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen" (Deuteronomy 27:26).  "Remove from me the way of lying" (Psalm 119:29).  "The curse causeless shall not come" (Proverbs 26:2).  "Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth.  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations… to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen" (Matthew 28:18-20).

The verdict of the law has come
Which has confirmed the awful curse.
We all are guilty, not just some;
"Amen," the people shall rehearse.

There is no use to argue now
As if the sinner has a case.
The time has come for hearts to bow
Before the Lord and seek His grace.

Praise God!  Our Lord was sacrificed
To satisfy His righteous laws!
Our Conqueror is Jesus Christ
Who robbed our curse of all its cause!

O Lord, we've heard Your great commission
Assigned to each ambassador
To tell the lost in their condition
To seek the curse's Conqueror!
