Revisit with Revival

"Wilt Thou not revive us again: that Thy people may rejoice in Thee?  Show us Thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us Thy salvation.  I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for He will speak peace unto His people, and to His saints: but let them not turn again to folly" (Psalm 85:6-8).  "Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end…. The counsel of the LORD, that shall stand" (Proverbs 19:20,21).  "If any man have an ear, let him hear" (Revelation 13:9). 

The Lord has heard His people pray,

And He has answered in the past,

But will we hear what He will say

That we may be revived at last? 

Salvation comes by lovingkindness,

With mercy that restrains God's wrath,

That gives us sight replacing blindness

To turn us back into His path. 

May God revisit us and send  

Revival to our troubled nation

With counsel in our latter end

That makes us wise through His salvation.

Lord, give us ears to hear Your voice!

Revisit us with truth and grace

As in revival we rejoice

With all who humbly seek Your face.
