Integrity's Investigation

"They pierced My hands and My feet... They shall praise the LORD that seek Him" (Psalm 22:16,26).  "The integrity of the upright shall guide them" (Proverbs 11:3).  "Who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun?" (Ecclesiastes 6:12). "The keeper of the prison...brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?  And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved" (Acts 16:27-31). 

It does no good to make the claim

That evidence has somehow failed  

To show the truth of Christ who came,

When prophecies are so detailed!

The hands were pierced, as were the feet,

Of Christ, as David prophesied. 

We see this prophecy complete

Upon the cross when Jesus died. 

The prophecies foretelling Christ,  

His life, His death, and resurrection,

To honest seekers have sufficed,

Which show the truth by their perfection.

For who can tell us what shall be,  

With proclamations never flawed? 

The Author of such prophecy

Is Christ our Savior and our God! 

This evidence our Savior gave

Supports the answer that is true

To seekers whom the Lord will save

Who humbly ask, "What must I do?"

Will always lead to You, O Lord,

The Captain of our soul's salvation,

Our Savior evermore adored!
