"My voice shalt Thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto Thee, and will look up" (Psalm 5:3). "And all the people came early in the morning to Him in the temple, for to hear Him" (Luke 21:38).
There is a morning meeting
That I never want to miss:
It is the daily greeting
When God communes with His.
It is time when I look up,
And lift to Him my prayer.
He bids me come and with Him sup
And cast on Him my care.
He speaks to me in every line
Of Scripture that I read,
Instructing me with words Divine
To go where He will lead.
Other meetings come and go
That waste our time and gas,
But this is one, I surely know,
I do not want to pass!
