"Whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe.... Every man's judgment cometh from the Lord" (Proverbs 29:25,26). "For the Father... hath committed all judgment unto the Son.... Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth My Word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation, but is passed from death unto life" (John 5:22,24).
What a joy to look toward
A future with no condemnation!
Everyone who trusts the Lord
Shall have this joyful expectation!
God's judgment must be satisfied
Against our sin with justice served,
Yet that is why our Savior died
To bear the judgment we deserved!
How joyful therefore we may be;
Our future surely is not grim!
No judgment in eternity
Remains for those who trust in Him!
Thank You for this joyful rest,
Since we have placed in You our trust.
As far as east is from the west,
Lord, You removed our sin from us!
