Psalm 99:6,8 Moses and Aaron... and Samuel among them that call
upon his name... Thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest
vengeance of their inventions.
Proverbs 18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
Leviticus
4:32-35 And if he bring
a lamb for a sin offering, he shall bring it...without blemish.
And he shall pour out all the
blood... and it shall be forgiven him.
Ephesians 5:2 Christ also
hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering... for a sweetsmelling
savor.
How graciously
our God forgave
His erring
servants He corrected.
He was their
Tower, strong to save,
To whom they ran
and were protected.
The promised Seed
of Abraham
Has borne our
sin to grant us favor.
Behold God's
sacrificial Lamb
Who offered His
sweet smelling savor!
