“They have rewarded Me… hatred for My love. Let Satan stand at his right hand… I will greatly praise the LORD… for He shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those that condemn his soul” (Psalm 109:5,6,30,31). “The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and He addeth no sorrow with it… but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity” (Proverbs 10:22,29). “Eternal life… God, who cannot lie, promised before the world began” (Titus 1:2).
We know that Satan is a liar
Who poses as the sinner’s friend.
The lost may choose whom they desire,
But not the fallout in the end.
We choose today whom we will serve,
And gratefully, we choose the Savior!
The blessings we do not deserve
Are granted only through His favor.
The Savior stood in our defense
When He was dying on the cross,
To save the sinner who repents
From judgment and eternal loss.
Yet even so is Christ refused
By many who reject His love
And consequently are confused
As enemies of God above.
How strong indeed is this confusion
As Satan stands at their right hands!
But God will free them from delusion
If they will turn as He commands.
The Lord is reaching out to them,
Reproving sinners by His Spirit.
All those who turn, He won’t condemn:
How sweet that sound is when we hear it!
The blessing of the Lord awaits,
And with it He will add no sorrow!
This is the Gospel Satan hates,
Advising, “Wait until tomorrow.”
TODAY if souls will hear God’s voice,
The Lord will save them who will pray.
The time to make that crucial choice
Is NOT TOMORROW but TODAY.
The Lord, who promised, cannot lie:
Thank God He has this limitation!
Eternal life He won’t deny
To those who trust Him for salvation!
O Lord, we know that You now stand
As Advocate for all Your own
To plead this cause at our right hand:
That we are saved by You alone.
O Lord, our Champion of grace,
Now send us forth to show Your plan
To thus become our Hiding Place
Before the universe began!
