"The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: He turneth it whithersoever He will.... safety is of the Lord" (Proverbs 21:1,31).
Our God is sovereign, right from the start.
As rivers of water, He turns the king's heart.
No king is saved by the army he sends;
But God saves each one who on Him depends.
