"I am continually with Thee: Thou hast held me by my right hand. Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory" (Psalm 73:23,24). "Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end. There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand" (Proverbs 19:20,21).
Regardless of what man has planned,
The counsel of my Lord shall stand.
He'll never let go of my hand.
He'll lead me home to glory.
Thus on His counsel I will stand.
All else is shifting, sinking sand.
And when I reach the promise land,
His praise shall be my story.
