Psalm 97:11-12 Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright
in heart. Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance
of his holiness.
Proverbs 21:21 He that followeth after righteousness and mercy
findeth life, righteousness, and honor.
Esther 8:2,16 The king took off his ring... taken from Haman, and
gave it unto Mordecai... The Jews had light, and gladness.
Revelation 15:3 And they sing... the song of the Lamb, saying, Great
and marvelous are thy works,
Lord God Almighty; just and true are
thy ways, thou King of saints.
Eternal light and
gladness nears,
And sorrow then
shall find no place
When God shall
wipe away all tears,
And we shall see
Him face to face.
Our eyes shall
then behold the King
In all His
kindness and His splendor
As we give thanks
and gladly sing
To praise the
Lamb, our soul’s Defender.
