Psalm 78:70-72 He chose David also his servant, and took him from the
sheepfolds... So he fed them according to the integrity of his
heart...guided... by the skillfulness of his hands.
Proverbs 2:6 For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
Nehemiah 2:18 Then I told them of the hand of my God which was good
upon me... And they said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their
hands for this good work.
1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome
them... greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
The Lord took
David from the fold
Where He had
taught him to be skilled
With training that
would make him bold
To guide the
nation God would build.
So may we likewise
now be wise
With courage and
with strengthened hands
As Jesus calls us
to arise
And build His
church as He commands.
