The faithful Fountain
of our joy
Is Jesus Christ
our Lord and Savior.
He gives us
strength that we employ
To bring glad
tidings of His favor.
This well of joy
shall not run dry
When hearts are
set on things above.
If dryness comes,
the reason why
Is our departure
from first love.
