"They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course" (Psalm 82:5). "The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them... He that winneth souls is wise" (Proverbs 11:3,30). "I have caused My terror in the land of the living" (Ezekiel 32:32). "Hide us from the face of Him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: for the great day of His wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?" (Revelation 6:16,17).
A moral darkness
shrouds the land
That twists the
course of earth's foundations
When hearts
refuse to understand
And walk in vain
imaginations.
Integrity shall
be the guide
For those who
choose Christ's tenderness,
But those who walk
instead in pride
Reject God's gift
of righteousness.
The terror of God's
coming wrath
Shall come to
those who close their eyes,
But those who show
salvation's path
Are winning
souls and shall be wise.
O Lord, the day of
tenderness
Or terror is a
standing choice.
We preach the Gospel
that will bless
The humble who
will hear Your voice.
