"Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! For the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time" (Revelation 12:12).
The devil knows his time is short
And therefore has great wrath.
And so he's working to distort
The Gospel and its path.
Let us then who know the Lord
Thus likewise understand
That time is short; we move toward
Emmanuel's bright land.
And shall we not redeem the time
Since time shall be no more
When once we reach our home sublime
On heaven's peaceful shore?
