"Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.... For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity" (Psalm 23:4, 125:4).
What comfort, Lord, to know your rod
Is that which rests on me!
Not the wicked, but my God
Corrects me perfectly!
I thank you, Lord, that You're the One
Who measures my correction,
That I may hear Your words "Well done!"
That grace brings to perfection.
