"The entrance of Thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.... Make Thy face to shine upon Thy servant; and teach me Thy statutes" (Psalm 119:130,135). "The darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.... And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever" (1 John 2:8,17).
Your words enter in, Lord, and give to us light.
How bright is the light of Your face!
The darkness is past that robbed us of sight.
How great is the sight of Your grace.
And now we can see what is passing away,
And also the things that remain.
Those who will hear God's Word and obey,
Forever the Lord will sustain.
