"The chief priests mocking Him, with the scribes and elders, said, He saved others; Himself He cannot save" (Matthew 27:41,42).
He could not save Himself and us,
'Twas either/or at Calvary.
He made His choice, and it was thus:
He gave Himself for you and me.
