"And He cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with Me one hour?" (Matthew 26:40).
What? Could I not for Jesus' sake
For just an hour, sleep forsake?
Could I not then watch and pray,
And could I not just then obey?
Lord, you watched and prayed for me.
You gave Yourself to make me free.
Yes, I will watch with You an hour.
Yes, I will pray for grace and power.
