mercy, so kind,
Was strong in
Jerusalem’s city.
The love of our
Savior there shined
Where enemies
showed Him no pity!
Our Kindred
Redeemer and Friend
Has done what He
promised to do.
His prophecies all
have their end,
For Jesus is
faithful and true.
