The horrible pit was so deep
From which we were rescued by Christ!
We all went astray just like sheep;
We all, by our sin, were enticed.
But Christ has
defended our cause,
By dying for all
who were cursed.
The Lord satisfied
His own laws;
His blessing
cannot be reversed!
