"And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only" (Matthew 17:8).
Jesus only, what a salve
That our weary eyes may claim!
He is all we need to have,
Trusting only in His name.
Thus we gladly lift our eyes
To our Lord upon His throne.
Thereby He will make us wise,
As we look to Him alone.
