"This people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed.... But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear" (Matthew 13:15,16).
What a blessing God imparts
To eyes that we may thereby see.
Sight is granted to our hearts
In view of our eternity.
What a contrast are the blind
That cannot see what lies ahead.
Willful darkness shrouds their mind
To blessings they could have instead.
