"The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold" (Psalm 19:9,10). "There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing: there is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great riches" (Proverbs 13:7). "When ye received the Word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the Word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe" (1 Thessalonians 2:13).
The
judgments of the Lord are true
With
greater wealth than much fine gold.
The
riches therein we may view
Have
greater worth than can be told.
When
we have realized we're poor
By
heaven's true eternal measure,
The
Word of God that we explore
Will
then unveil endless treasure.
The
Word of God that we receive
Will
open heaven's treasure chest
And
work in those who will believe,
Imparting
wisdom, wealth, and rest.
O
Lord, we thank You for Your Word
By
which we have our truest wealth,
By
which our hearts are also stirred
To
show the lost Your saving health.
