"They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing His sheaves with him" (Psalm 126:5,6). "Your sorrow shall be turned into joy" (John 16:20).
They that sow in heartfelt tears
Shall surely reap in joy.
God is calling each who hears
To come to His employ.
Tears of sorrow for the lost
Are qualities desired.
Those who weep will count the cost
And spend what is required.
And joy will come with harvest sheaves
For what their hearts have craved:
To see a sinner that believes
Whom God has thereby saved.
