"The Lord is with you, while ye be with Him; and if ye seek Him, He will be found of you; but if ye forsake Him, He will forsake you.... Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded " (2 Chronicles 15:2).
Seek now the Lord and He will be found.
Forsake Him He will be hidden.
Let your heart seek Him that strength may abound,
And straying from Him be forbidden.
Surely in one sense the Lord does not leave;
Yes, even if we disobey.
But strength that God offers we cannot receive,
Whenever our hearts go astray.
Let not your hands, therefore, become weak.
Your diligence God will reward.
His fountain of strength will be found when you seek
And turn with your heart to the Lord.
