"From everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was ... when there were no fountains abounding with water ... when He prepared the heavens ... when He gave to the sea His decree ... when He appointed the foundations of the earth: then I was by Him ... and My delights were with the sons of men" (Proverbs 8:23-31).
Before the foundation was laid
For the earth, which He hung in its place,
Before all the planets were made
And the stars which He flung into space—
Before He created the sea,
Before He had settled the land,
His delights were with you and with me;
Salvation was already planned!
