"Oh, that My people had hearkened unto Me, and Israel had walked in My ways! I should soon have subdued their enemies, and turned My hand against their adversaries ... With honey out of the rock should I have satisfied thee" (Psalm 81:13-16).
Oh! That My people had hearkened!
Oh! That they'd walked in My ways!
Their pathway would not have been darkened;
They'd walk in My light all their days.
Oh! How it grieves the Lord's heart
When sinners will not hear His voice!
When rebels refuse the grace He'd impart,
What a lamentable choice!
