Psalm 65:2,3 ~ O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all
flesh come. Iniquities prevail against me: as for our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away.
Proverbs 24:16 ~ For a just man
falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into
mischief.
Isaiah 11:10 ~ And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse,
which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek:
and his rest shall be glorious.
Mark 8:31 ~ The Son of man must suffer many things, and be
rejected… and be killed, and after three days rise again.
Before we ever thought to pray,
The Lord provided for the cost
To purge iniquities away
And pay the ransom for the
lost.
How rightly, then, we seek the
face
Of Christ whose rest is
glorious!
In Him alone is saving grace
Because He died and rose for us.
