Remember the Reward

Read:  Psalm 141 / Proverbs 20 / Deuteronomy 4 / 2 John

Psalm 141:3-4 Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips. Incline not my heart to any evil thing.
Proverbs 20:8 A king that sitteth in the throne of judgment scattereth away all evil with his eyes.
Deuteronomy 4:9 Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons.
2 John 8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward... but I trust to...  speak face to face, that our joy may be full.

We look to God to make us wise
And guard our words and works from sin.
He searches us with flaming eyes
As God our King enthroned within.

We are encouraged by the Lord
To not forget His truth and grace
That we might have a full reward
When we behold Him face to face.
