Days of Delusion

Read:  Psalm 115 / Proverbs 3 / Leviticus 20 / 2 Thess. 2

Psalm 115:2-4,8  Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God? But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands. They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.
Proverbs 3:34 Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly.
Leviticus 20:26 And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.
2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Why should the people in confusion
Deride the truth they cannot find?
These are the days of strong delusion
And self-deception of the mind.

The Lord now separates us here
From idols that the lost will treasure,
That we may walk in holy fear
And live to do our Savior's pleasure.
