"O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph... For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding" (Psalm 47:1,7). "He that winneth souls is wise… To the counselors of peace is joy... Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad" (Proverbs 11:30; 12:20,25). "I will put My laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts... For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more" (Hebrews 8:10-12).
O clap your
hands and shout with praise,
For God is
reigning on His throne.
With
understanding of His ways,
We sing and make
His triumph known.
The counselors
of peace have joy
That cause the
heavy heart to sing.
The enemy cannot
destroy
The winning
words of God our King.
The Lord has put
His words inside
The mind and
heart of those He wins,
And thereby He
has testified
That He shall
not recall their sins.
O Lord, the
winning words You gave
Which You have
written on our heart
Still liberate
the souls You save
With grace that
You alone impart.
