Psalm 120:6,7 ~ My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.
I am for peace: but when I
speak, they are for war.
Proverbs 18:2 ~ A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that
his heart may discover itself.
Nehemiah 1:11 ~ O Lord…let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer…
of thy servants, who desire to fear thy name.
Titus 1:9 ~ Holding fast the faithful word… by sound doctrine
both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.
There is a war of words today
That through the ages does not
cease
Between the wise who show God’s
way
And fools who yet reject His
peace.
But God has heard the earnest
prayer
Of those who humbly fear His
name.
The word that lifts them from
despair
Is in the Gospel we proclaim.
