We have a
quarrel with the liar
Who in our day
dismisses truth.
We stand against
the thief's desire
To rob the
Gospel from our youth.
There is no
other like the Lord
Who gave Himself
for our salvation.
His mercy and
His truth afford
Our soul's
escape from condemnation.
He hung the
earth in outer space
With laws
established by His voice.
He gave
salvation by His grace,
A gift presented
as a choice.
Lord, in this
day of dark defiance,
Our quarrel
stands against seduction.
Our quietness is
in reliance
On You, our
Savior from destruction.
