The Joy in Jesus

"The joy of the Lord is your strength" (Nehemiah 8:10). "And there were in the same country shepherds.... And the angel said unto them... Behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.... And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this Child" (Luke 2:8-17).

There's joy in Jesus and His love;
And in that joy, strength from above:
Strength to live and give God glory,
Strength to tell the Gospel story.

Joy that filled each shepherd's heart,
When those angels did depart,
With strength to make it known abroad,
That Christ was born, the Son of God!

Oh Lord of heaven, send us thus
With joy that likewise strengthens us,
To share Your message once again,
Of peace on earth, good will to men.

You have a lot of nice poems. It is good to see you writing "Psalms" unto the Lord.

Quick suggestion though. I think you should list yourself on Blogs 4 God. That way more people would know about your poetry. Selah!
