“All
nations whom Thou hast made shall come and worship before Thee, O Lord; and
shall glorify Thy name… I will praise Thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart:
and I will glorify Thy name for evermore… For great is Thy mercy toward me: and Thou hast delivered my soul from the
lowest hell… Thou, O Lord, art
a God full of compassion… and plenteous in mercy and truth” (Psalm 86:9-15). “The memory of the just is blessed… The blessing of the LORD,
it maketh rich, and He addeth no sorrow with it” (Proverbs 10:7,22).
At
last all nations God has made
Shall
come and worship at His feet.
His
mercy then shall be displayed;
His
truth remembered shall be sweet.
The
works of God in all creation
Shall
surely glorify His name,
Yet
we’ll recall in our salvation
That
He in mercy bore our shame!
Eternity
was filled with praise
Before
He ever left His throne,
Yet
now much more He does amaze
The
grateful memory of His own!
The
memory of the just is blest,
But
none of us were justified
Apart
from Christ who gives us rest
Because
for sinners He has died.
How
great His mercy is to us:
He
plucked us from the lowest hell!
Forevermore
we’ll praise Him thus,
Exploring
love too great to tell!
Eternity,
that endless morrow,
Is
filled with everlasting joy
Because
our Lord will add no sorrow,
And
death, at last, He will destroy.
O
Lord, we thank You as we think
Of
all You did to grant us peace!
You
drank the cup we could not drink
Obtaining
thus our soul’s release!
The
memory, Lord, of Your great love
Shall
be revived and fading never!
With
every soul redeemed above
We’ll
glorify Your name forever!
