"O Thou that hearest prayer, unto Thee shall all flesh come. Iniquities prevail against me: as for our transgressions, Thou shalt purge them away. Blessed is the man whom Thou choosest, and causest to approach unto Thee, that he may dwell in Thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of Thy house, even of Thy holy temple" (Psalm 65:2-4).
O Lord, we know the You will hear
The prayers of all who come to You,
Who seek You with a heart sincere
And with repentance that is true.
But how does our sincerity
Remove our guilt and condemnation,
Since You have said iniquity
Has brought this gulf of separation?
Though our solutions all have failed,
There is a ransom we have found!
Though our transgressions have prevailed,
Your grace, O Lord, will more abound!
We thank You, Lord, that You would pay
To cleanse our souls eternally!
You purged transgressions all away
And cast them in the deepest sea!
Lord, draw us now around Your throne
With praise that waits for You above,
Then send us forth to make You known
And preach the Gospel with Your love.
