Marvelously Moved

"There is no God else beside Me; a just God and a Savior; there is none beside Me.  Look unto Me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else" (Isaiah 45:21,22).   "Our Lord Jesus Christ...  gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world... I marvel that ye are so soon removed from Him that called you into the grace of Christ" (Galatians 1:3-6).  

There is no God beside the Lord;

He is a just God and a Savior. 

There's no one else who can afford

To grant us His salvation's favor. 

We look to Him, and we are saved

With all who truly will repent. 

How strangely, then, have some behaved

Who turn from Christ whom God has sent! 

Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,

Who gave Himself to ransom us,

For sinners has been sacrificed;

His grace and truth are marvelous! 

How marvelously moved from grace,

O Lord, are those who turn from You!

How empty is the wind they chase

And vain the hope that they pursue!
