"The memory of the just is blessed... The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich" (Proverbs 10:7,22). "Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness... But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith... Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us... That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith" (Galatians 3:11-14).
The
memory of the just is blest,
But
how can man be justified?
The
law of works affords no rest,
Which
only Jesus can provide.
The
law declares that all are cursed,
For
all fall short of its demand.
But
Jesus justifies the worst;
By
faith in Christ alone we stand.
God's
promise came to Abraham
Of
righteousness which He received.
By
faith in Christ, God's spotless Lamb,
We
too are saved who have believed!
We're
justified in Jesus Christ;
O
Lord, we thank You this is true!
Because
You have been sacrificed,
We
rest and we rejoice in You!
