"The lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb... her steps take hold on hell" (Proverbs 5:3-5). " Behold My Servant... in whom My soul delighteth... Hear, ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see" (Isaiah 42:1,18). "I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ" (2 Corinthians 11:3).
The
honeycomb of hell, at first,
Is
sweet to those who on it dwell.
Be
sure of this, its end is cursed;
Deception
leads a soul to hell.
Behold
God's Servant and our Savior,
God's
Son in whom is His delight.
The
deaf may hear His Gospel's favor,
The
blind may see His saving might.
Beware
of Satan's subtlety,
Who
promised Eve she would not die,
Corrupting
the simplicity
Of
Christ whom the deceived deny.
O
Lord, how bitter is the end
Of
honeycomb from hell we find
Destroying
souls You would defend,
Deceiving
the corrupted mind!
