"Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and His greatness is unsearchable... I will speak of the glorious honor of Thy majesty, and of Thy wondrous works... He will fulfill the desire of them that fear Him: He also will hear their cry, and will save them." (Psalm 145:3,5,19). "Jesus answered them, Many good works have I showed you from My Father... If I do not the works of My Father, believe Me not. But if I do, though ye believe not Me, believe the works" (John 10:32-38).
How
wondrous are the works of God
Which
He displays in all the earth!
O
let us praise Him and applaud
His
majesty and matchless worth!
Behold
His works throughout creation:
His
greatness is unsearchable!
Consider
too His great salvation
By
which saves the sinner's soul.
We
cannot see the full extent
Of
God's eternal majesty,
Yet
when a sinner will repent
He's
saves that soul eternally!
The
works that Jesus manifested,
Among the proofs He would enlist,
Were
signs and wonders that attested
That
God was dwelling in our midst.
There
is, therefore, now no defense
For
those who will deny the Lord,
For
there is ample evidence
Which
they have willfully ignored.
"Believe
the works," our Savior said,
Which
He had done before their eyes,
Then
as a Lamb to slaughter led,
He
died, yet promised He would rise.
The
promise which he gave was clear:
In
three days He would rise again.
The
angel said, "He is not here!"
To
those who searched His gravesite then.
If
souls are blind, it is by choice,
Yet,
Lord, You call them just the same.
We
pray that they will hear Your voice,
Repent,
and call upon Your name!
O
Lord, the wondrous works You did
Are
wonderful indeed to us!
Salvation's
truth has not been hid
Which
You have rendered obvious!
