"He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned... He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light. Lo, all these things worketh God oftentimes with man, to bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living" (Job 33:27-30). "If he turn not... he made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made" (Psalm 7:12-15). "If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death... He that keepeth thy soul, doth not He know it?" (Proverbs 24:11,12). "Ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto Me... unto the uttermost part of the earth" (Acts 1:8).
The
Lord is looking for the souls
Who
know they're sinners in His sight.
When
one will say, "I've sinned," He pulls
That
soul from darkness into light.
Yes,
oftentimes the Lord will bring
The
sinners, who in darkness sit,
Into
the light where they will sing
When
they are pulled back from the pit.
How
many times the Lord has pulled
The
rebel heart back from the ditch
To
bid the sinner to behold
Salvation
that will make him rich.
Though
some will choose to turn away,
The
Lord has called us nonetheless
To
call on sinners gone astray
To
turn to Christ from hopelessness.
The
Lord imparts to us His power
By
His indwelling Holy Spirit
To
preach the Gospel in this hour
To everyone who yet will hear it.
Lord,
with Your Gospel we are sent
To
be Your witnesses on earth,
So
sinners, hearing, may repent
Whom
You will save with second birth.
O
Lord, we've seen the fearful choice
Of
those who choose a Christless grave.
They
still refuse to hear Your voice
And
thrust away Your hand to save.
We
thank You, Lord, for saving us;
You
pulled us from the pit of hell!
Your
Good News is so marvelous
Which You have sent us forth to tell.
