"O praise the LORD, all ye nations... for His merciful kindness... and the truth of the LORD" (Psalm 117:1,2). "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death... A true witness delivereth souls: but a deceitful witness speaketh lies" (Proverbs 14:12,25). "Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit" (Jeremiah 16:19). "The Holy Scriptures... are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus" (2 Timothy 3:15).
Let all the nations now applaud
And praise the Lord for His salvation!
The mercy and the truth of God
Deliver us from condemnation!
To some there is way that seems
To be a right alternative,
But Jesus Christ alone redeems
The lost from death so they may live.
A witness who is truly wise
Shall by the Scriptures win a soul.
There is no profit in the lies
Which cannot make a sinner whole.
Lord, thank You for deliverance
That rescued us from vain deceit
And changed our hopeless circumstance
When our redemption was complete!
