"When a wicked man dieth, his expectation shall perish... He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind" (Proverbs 11:7,29). "Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? Then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil" (Jeremiah 13:23). "Keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding... oppositions of science falsely so called" (1 Timothy 6:20).
The
battle yet wages in schools
Where
wickedness grows ever greater,
As
godless instruction still rules
That
blindly denies our Creator.
Where
critical thinking is lost,
Our
students inherit the wind
And
do not consider the cost
For
saving their souls which have sinned.
As
spots on a leopard or color in skin
Inherited
by DNA,
So
we have a nature accustomed to sin,
Like
sheep who have all gone astray!
Our
wickedness, Lord, is revealed,
Unchanged
by the wind of false science,
Yet
by Your salvation we're healed
As
we turn to You with reliance!
