Winners Witness

“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise” (Proverbs 11:30).  “For thou shalt be His witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.  And now why tarriest thou?” (Acts 22:15,16). 

The fruit of the righteous is God’s gracious gift,

Since no one is righteous apart from His grace.

So why should we tarry when we may be swift

To witness for Christ in the Lord’s chosen place?

The Lord has equipped us to witness to souls,

Since we too were lost and condemned by our sin.

So let us be vessels His Spirit controls,

And testify plainly to souls we may win!

O Lord, we give thanks for Your marvelous Word

By which we know surely the things that are true.

May we declare boldly these things seen and heard

To souls we may win as we bring them to You!
